Photub.com--July 2006-Present
 Primary Language: Python; Scope: Personal Project
  Built using the Django web framework, Photub.com is a photography blog which links out to useful articles, guides and galleries related to photography. Data is stored in a MySQL database and served through the Apache Web Server and mod_fastcgi. The original site (also in Python/Django) was rewritten in December 2006.

Real-Time Programming and Data Acquisition System
 Primary Language: C/C++ on Windows and ETS real-time kernel; Scope: School Assignment
  Created a real-time data acquisition system(s) targeted for the ETS real time kernel and Windows based user interfaces. The systems were implemented as multithreaded applications using the Windows critical region API and timers.

HTTP Proxy Server--Spring 2004
 Primary Language: Java; Scope: School Assignment
  Created from scratch a multithreaded HTTP proxy server in Java. The server made use of synchronized methods and blocks to ensure the integrity of the cache.

Robotic Vision System--Fall 2003
 Primary Language: C on GNU/Linux; Scope: Independent Study
  Created a robotic visioning system using a web camera, and image processing techniques. The system was able to capture and analyze 20 frames per second using non-blocking I/O.

HTTP Server and Load Tester--Fall 2003
 Primary Language: C on POSIX; Scope: School Assignment
  Created a non-blocking, multithreaded web-server, using POSIX threads, which was able to run CGI scripts and programs. The multithreaded load tester was then used to test the server by making random connections and requests.
